deac
This is a 1951 Hudson Hornet sedan with 86,000 original miles on it. It is in original condition with no rust present. It has a single barrel carburetor and an automatic transmission. For accessories, it has a front visor, dual spotlights, fog lamps, and a rear window blind. It starts and runs. The only thing that it needs is a front brake job as it does not seem to have much braking force and it pulls to the right on braking. The front seat upholstery is torn or worn in spots and taped over with duct tape in several areas. There is a file available of service/repair records and chain of ownership that has been documented over the years. The car is in Venice, CA. We're asking $14,000 for it as that is what we have into it. Here is a link to Hemmings Motor News of 5/26/2015 "Find Of The Day" featuring this car. Please check it out for more information on the car. https://www.hemmings.com/stories/2015/05/26/hemmings-find-of-the-day-1951-hudson-hornet It was sold one month after that article appeared in Hemmings for $17,500. Attached is the bill of sale for that transaction. The car is in Los Angeles and it is currently titled and registered in California (We have new CA license plates for it which are not yet mounted). https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1045848113378904/?ref=product_details&referral_code=marketplace_general&referral_story_type=general&tracking={"qid"%3A"-2530343557707944970"%2C"mf_story_key"%3A"6602516992516481288"%2C"commerce_rank_obj"%3A"{\"target_id\"%3A6602516992516481288%2C\"target_type\"%3A6%2C\"primary_position\"%3A3%2C\"ranking_signature\"%3A79208564055934571%2C\"commerce_channel\"%3A501%2C\"value\"%3A0.0011780987942917%2C\"upsell_type\"%3A3523%2C\"candidate_retrieval_source_map\"%3A{\"24675107322137210\"%3A805%2C\"7523081957725932\"%3A3001%2C\"7343652055698403\"%3A3534%2C\"6825921507535518\"%3A3535}%2C\"grouping_info\"%3Anull}"%2C"lightning_feed_qid"%3A"-2530350910841042728"%2C"lightning_feed_ranking_signature"%3A"79208564055934571"%2C"ftmd_400706"%3A"111112l"} This car is not mine and I have no stake in the sale
Xander Wildeisen
If the car is solid, it will find a new home. Great car to use as a daily driver.
Hudsy Wudsy
I've seen this Hudson around up here in Minnesota for a long time. I always sort of wince when I see it, though, because somebody thought it would be perfectly acceptable to install the smaller '48-'49 rear venetian blind in the larger '50 and later back window. Crusty Trucker
Please forgive me, step-down Hudson fans -no offense intended, but, despite their race-winning days of the past, these have always reminded me of:
