Larry Schramm
What year is this REO truck, or is it a converted car? Thanks.
41 Su8
I don't think REO ever mounted the gas tank in front of the dash on a car. I think you have a Speedwagen between 1915 and 1919 John
oldford
Only the Speed Wagon had the cowl mounted gas tank. Speedwagons were made from 1917 - 1926 as Model F and Model U, depending on the number of cylinders. Model F was 4 cylinders, Model U was 6. BryanC17reo
I think it's a 1925 ,bot a look at the rear wheel hub would tell .they had a more robust brake/hub with a small hub cover

Hay Larry that looks like a North Carolina inspection sticker on the windshield. Is that truck located in NC? John

Dandy Dave
Cool. That's one long wheel base. Are you getting REO itis Larry? Here's a video of the Reo in the Godfather. https://www.google.com/search?q=the+godfather+ii+clip+of+driving+the+truck+scene+youtube&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS974US974&oq=The+Godfather&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBggCECMYJzIGCAAQRRg5MgYIARBFGEAyBggCECMYJzIGCAMQIxgnMg0IBBAuGNQCGLEDGIAEMg0IBRAuGNQCGLEDGIAEMg0IBhAuGNQCGLEDGIAEMg0IBxAuGNQCGLEDGIAE0gEKMTkwNTRqMGoxNagCALACAA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:1765eeb9,vid:18Mr2Vv9zUg,st:0 Edited February 10 by Dandy Dave (see edit history)

Lahti35
If the fenders are original to the truck I would say its a later Speedwagon, I recall that the earlier fenders were riveted together and the rivets plainly visible. This looks more similar to the 1924 Speedwagon I had years ago than one from the teens...
BryanC17reo
The Vin number is on the engine subframe near the driver's front engine support casting of the block.
