So the seller indicates the engine, transmission and upholstery have redone. Quite a bit of costly work has been done and I would think that makes for at least 1/2 of the sale price.  As hobbyists we buy these cars because we enjoy working them.  In my case I like to work on cars to make them better than they were when I first purchased them. But in case this Cadillac buyer might consider this car because Cadillacs are so expensive to restore which cancels out a lot of what hobbyists like to do; work on it.  But in my book this is an example of the way you buy a old Cadillac. It's old so there would still would be small projects to do along the way.

IMO all 4-door hard tops look their best when photographed from the side with all four windows down. No matter what the make when the car is photographed this way you can't miss the absence of the "B" pillar and that is the selling point.

The '56 SdV was one of the cars that I had wanted for years. Finally got mine in the '90's. There is just something about these that embodies the spirit of Mid Century Cadillac.  A much better icon, in my eyes than the '59. I should have kept mine. This one is in better shape than mine was, almost 30 years ago.
