Would you believe I didn't know that people actually preferred sidemounts until a few years ago. I think because with most prewar cars the sidemounts were an option, but with the high end cars the rear mounted spare was a sport option. For this Nash 1070, you wouldn't need it, it has a 247 ci L-head straight eight.
