I believe it has 145k miles. I've worked out most of the bugs and it's running pretty well overall. Recently rebuilt transmission, although it drips fluid; probably just needs the pan bolts snugged up. New rear brakes/lines/hose, differential/pinion & axle seals. Good ol' cruiser. $9,000 or best offer. Contact: no phone listed. Copy and paste in your email: 54bb8277ce2034ce8b68272aa1bb40fe@sale.craigslist.org I have no personal interest or stake in the eventual sale of this 1951 Packard 300 4dr Sedan. Note: The 1951-'52 Packard 300's and successor 1953-'54 Cavaliers were Packard's competitive series versus Buick Roadmaster and Chrysler New Yorker. TerryB
The famous (infamous?) clothes pins on the gas line to combat vapor lock. A nice low budget addition that has been around a very long time in the annals of cheap car fixes. But they blame the symptoms on "vapor lock" 😣

jimkf
I always find it interesting that sellers blame a leak on loose bolts or a non-working accessory on a bad fuse. If it were that simple, they'd have done it long ago.

zeke01
I’ve tried, but I’m not sure how to phrase it. They resemble the north end of a south bound bull. Zeke

If it’s really dirty, use a euphemism… The 'colorful' description was by Jim Nance telling Dick Teague, Packard stylist, just prior to Easter weekend 1954; "Teague, you're a smart guy, do something about those #%*@ taillights". (Check your pm for the actual description). Originally, the 1951-'54 taillights were to be carried through for the 1955 Patricians, 400s and Caribbeans. The fortuitous results were the elegant 'cathedral' taillights seen on those cars.
