Buick 1939-1940 bumper question

I have to ask a specialist if the bumper  guard from a 1939 would fit on a 1940  front bumper .Do they have the same curve or not .I can have 1939 front middle bumper horn but i don't know if it fits on a 1940........

      Some of the good people who follow this forum could give you specifics but 39' has lots of 39' only parts.

Not if it's a 1939 40 or 60 series center guard.  First pic is of 39 Buick guards, couldn't find center guard pic online and I'm too comfortable to go downstairs and find the center guards I have.  2nd pic is of a 1940 center guard.  3rd pic shows a 1939 40 series Buick bumper.  The 39 40 and 60 series bumpers have small "ridge at the top.  The "ridge" profile is evident in the 39 guards in the first pic.  Maybe it might fit if the center guard is from 1939 80 or 90 series.  The 1939 80 and 90 series bumpers lacked the "ridge" profile and the center guards for those models have a profile that looks like the 1940 center guard in 2nd pic.

Thanks for your help !I can have a guard from a 39 low series so that will not fit my car .
