Trouble Code 41 indicates ALTERNATOR FIELD CIRCUIT problem. It has nothing to do with the windshield wipers. 1

If so, connect it to the 2 Battery terminals, Red on + and Black on - . Start the engine. What is the ALTERNATOR output VOLTAGE? Should read between 13V and 14.2V depending on the charge in battery, but definitely above 12V. If it does, I have no clue either, but you should CLEAR the code. If you don’t get it back you are in good shape. but if it DOES NOT read above 12Volts, you have an Alternator / Voltage Regulator problem of some sort and will need it found and repaired. I can’t do much more from here. You need to do some diagnosing on your own or have a mechanic do it. 1

Hemi Dude Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Why would you think the problem is in the motor when it is just the slave to the switch? A wiring diagram supplied. A switch is likely available from tcparts.com or arizonaparts.com

Hemi Dude Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 That moves the issue beyond my pay-grade. ‘Gremlins’ in the works. I like to mess with the mechanicals but leave the electronics stock. I had enough with RF affecting the on-line cryptic teletype electronics in the Marine Corps. Good education in advance of electronic ignition in Chrysler cars beginning 1972.
