Buick35
Just saw on Craigslist Florida spacecoast.Sorry I can't send the pictures.Says it just needs a carburetor and engine is not seized up. Might be fun trying to get it to run but I don't think the wife will go for it.
DrumBob
Here ya go. The seller describes the car in glowing terms. It's pretty ratty looking overall. Would I spend $1450 on it? No. https://miami.craigslist.org/brw/cto/d/dania-1950-plymouth-rare-all-original/7651000214.html
Buick35
I would think that the chrome alone would be worth that much but I'm no expert.
plymouthcranbrook
Gotta love those gentle sweet breezes of salted air. It probably is worth the asking price as a parts car if nothing else. As we have all mentioned before these are not a high demand car and have generally low values. The chrome value depends on how the backside of it looks. What got me was the seller's over the top description and the flowery words he used to praise a rusty pile of metal. I agree, a parts car.
The 55er
What a bunch of BS. If there was ever a car to completely avoid and run away from, this would be it. 1
rodneybeauchamp
Surely the seller is saying this tongue in cheek! Having a lend of us all no doubt. Admittedly with one or two hours of polish it will all buff out! Buyer beware. Rodney 😀😀😀😀😀
