Glove box door doesn’t see to match the interior colors. At $52,000 you’re allowed to be fussy about what you see.
Xander Wildeisen
I like it. Price? If seller throws in the paper towels and dryer sheets or dish washing detergent seen in the back. Then the negotiations could begin. 1

Xander Wildeisen
Those could be Bounty paper towels? The quicker picker upper. Or they could be Brawny paper towels. Not knowing which one does make a person hold back on an offer.
The 55er
Many things to nitpick here from the incorrect upholstery to the modified DeSoto horn ring to the weird outside mirrors. Seller states this is one of the rarest cars ever made. He also says FIND ONE, I found five different 1955 NY wagons on recent YouTube videos, there used to be a dark blue one driven to Hershey from Canada every fall parked near my swap meet space and another one (tan in color) in a neighboring town that was sold recently. That's seven I can account for and I'm sure there are more out there. The price on this one is outrageous and borderline ridiculous iMO. 1

They are a very impressive car and are quite rare. In my opinion, this one is quite overpriced for it's condition.
JamesR
I'm not in the market for a car in this price range, but if I were - and since the car's in northern Ohio - I'd have it taken to Matt Harwood for inspection before purchase. I think he knows a lot about these. Beautiful car.
