JoelsBuicks
This broken pot metal linkage connects via rod to the carburetor from the lever actuator at the bottom of the steering sector. As you can see in the pic it’s broken where it clamps to the 3/8” rod. I suppose a modification with JB Weld might work but I thought someone may have been down this road before with a better idea. Thanks! Joel

Hubert_25-25
That is an easy part to replicate from a piece of aluminum if you can't find an original. You could buy a piece (for example) 1/2" thick x 2" x 4". Material from Online Metals or on Ebay. Cut it on a band saw and drill it out. Not too much trouble to replicate and it will be much stronger. The JB weld won't hold on that part. You could also buy a split collar of that shaft diameter and put a lever arm on it. 2
Brian_Heil
McMaster Carr sells several sizes of damper control arms. Perhaps you could modify one?

EmTee
Drill a hole perpendicular to the break and insert a pin with some red Locktite.
JoelsBuicks
Gentlemen forgive me. I asked for your help and failed to check back; been caring for my wife after her shoulder surgery and just forgot. Some good ideas and thank you for taking time to respond.
