Fossil
What, no surf board OR fuzzy dice? If a person needed basic transportation with the ability to haul the groceries these would make an ideal option. I'm thinking the asking price is a little steep but who knows. There must be a huge stockpile of old original air filters somewhere.
plymouthcranbrook
It does look good. Maybe upholstery issues cause it looks like a horse blanket on the seat. And watch out for usual front suspension issues. More pics would be nice especially the underside. Price in my opinion is not far off if other stuff checks out. auburnseeker
The dash looks old and kind of fried to me , so I bet the upholstery is completely shot underneath. Door panels look like 1/8 inch plywood as well. Probably better options out there for very little more money.
The 55er
From what I can see and with a stated mileage of 135K in the Craigslist ad and so few exterior pictures, this looks more like a tired old car than a $7500 collector's item. If the colors on this were say, black, white, gray, or light green it would be a hard sell at $2500. IMO they're selling the pink color, the tablecloth, the picnic basket and not much else. Big pass. 2
plymouthcranbrook
After further inspection(and realizing I had misread the milage) I find myself much closer in my thoughts to The 55er than my earlier opinion.
