Thanks for your message. Yes, Al, different criterion.  Many, if not most cars on the market are for sale by brokers.  Not only does that put another layer of profit on a car, it's difficult, often impossible to get detailed history from the agent or owner.  

I date back to buying antique cars in the late 1950's and although my enthusiasm remains, buying and selling has changed.  Although we've owned several, OK many, Rolls-Royce and Bentleys, we've never had a Silver Ghost and the clock is ticking.  We're willing to step up to the plate for the right car, but there are Ghosts that have been for sale for a few years and my educated guess is that they're just priced too high.  We're hoping for a Ghost, or a Springfield P-I like we did own for many years, at 2023 pricing.

Time will tell if my theory pans out.
