Help IDing cables

The smaller cable has the look of 1930's GM choke and throttle cables but the factory ones usually had something engraved in the knob to tell it's purpose. The larger one is definitely an aftermarket replacement cable for many different purposes. I sold alot of them as a young NAPA counterman in the early 1960's.
