I agree, Jeff.  There's a lot of interesting automotive history

from this era that should not be forgotten--including the

development of the highway system, old gas stations,

old garages.  The cars need to be loved and maintained, too.

I think it would have been better to be more consistent in choosing interior colors: A nice brown vinyl for the seats and door cards complementing the dash and steering wheel would really inhance it.

Better yet would be the original type cloth covering.

The black, blue and brown interior colors are not attractive IMHO.

When I see a car with shiny cosmetics and an original wiring harness, or an engine compartment that doesn't match the car I see red flags.
