190bear
I'm trying to find the number of Model 60 coupes that were sold. Were they all titled 1926? Any input or advice?
28 Chrysler
They were built mid 1926 - mid 1927, normally titled as the year they were sold.
viv w
According to the book 70 years of Chrysler the model 60 was introduced in the middle of 1926 and ran until mid 27. A total of 51800 model 60 were built during this time , but that total included ALL different body styles. Early production model 60's had 5 lug wheels with 20 inch diameter wheels, later they changed to 4 lug wheels with 18 inch wheels. The later production cars also had a white illuminated guage panel, these generally were built in 1927. Look carefully at the fedco plate on the dashboard for the sequence of letters and numbers and also on the motor for the engine number. these will help to identify the month that your car was built. Some pictures will also help to identify what you have, as there were more than one version of the model 60 built as a coupe.
