vincef1962 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Hi everyone, we have a 1904 Rambler single cylinder in the shop and we are having a hard time find pictures or sketches of the mechanical side of the car. It seems at one point in its lifetime the car was "customized" with welded on pieces and levers missing or disconnected. If anyone has any photos of the body off the car showing all of the levers and the mechanical side would help us out big time. Thanks! 1
Dandy Dave Posted February 13, 2023 Posted February 13, 2023 Wow. Neat car. I have had to reverse engineer parts for stuff like that in the past sometimes because nothing was available. Hope you can find one to copy for correct dimensions on the parts.
Ben Popadak Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Mine half a dozen years ago at the old owners garage. Hasn't progressed too much farther but it was reassembled for transport. 2
dibarlaw Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 (edited) Wonderful, peppy Rambler on the 2022 Lansing to Dearborn run. I wish I had spent some time talking to the owner. I had assumed that it was a 2 cylinder. I was mezmerized by the mechanical goings-on when it was running. Edited February 14, 2023 by dibarlaw Added content (see edit history) 2
