1931 Desoto

Hello. My dad is looking at a 31 desoto here in Norway and he wanted me to do some research for some parts before he buy.  
The car is sold new in Norway in 31.  same owner since 64 But has Been sitting since mid 80s. 
the engine is seized and maybe cracked because of frost.  So first question is. What engine is bolt on here? Only 31 desoto engine? 
question 2: What fabric is used on the roof in the middle? And where can he buy new?:) someone has stepped on the roof and kicked holes in it..:

where Does people buy brakes and stuff like that for these rare cars?

Possibly 1931 Chrysler CM6 and 1931 Dodge Brothers DH6 will bolt right in. Brake parts can be gotten from here....https://www.oldmoparts.com/
