In need of indetification of the attached image steering wheel.  It has a shift indicator on top of the column.

 

I've researched several vehicle makes and years without success.

I agree. Notice the standard transmission floor shifter to the right. Also the column appears to be partially covering a gauge. So identifying the vehicle it's in won't help.

 

Unfortunately, I am no help as to what it came out of.

You've hit it.  It looks to be a '62 Biscayne wheel.

Yes it did.  It's in a WWII militay Dodge WC 12 that I'm about to rescue.
