Rusty15Taco Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Long time lurker, first time poster! Looking to ID a nailhead. Seems it’s between a 57-61 364, but the stamping in the deck seems to point in odd directions. Looks like casting is 1173201-1 Deck 6D200I899 production code 8708A Trying to find out the specifics of the motor since I know they came with different HP/TQ ratings. Any help is appreciated!
rocketraider Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Someone here will know. Postwar is probably best Forum to ask about Nailheads. https://forums.aaca.org/forum/2-buick/

95Cardinal Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Check here: https://www.teambuick.com/reference/ident_engine_53-58.php As far as I know,: 6=Century D=1957 That indicates a 364 CI with a 4 barrel carb and 10:1 compression.
