Vintage Hood Ornaments - Make and Model??

I've come across some vintage car hood ornaments. Can you help identify the make and model of these?

The eagle probably goes on the top of a flag pole.

The long one on the bottom is from a 1949 Ford but it is missing 2 pieces. A chrome circle goes on the left in the crescent shaped niche and a clear plastic arc behind it.

I believe the round one with crosshairs is a 61 Edsel Comet fender ornament.

I think you mean Mercury Comet.

Some useless trivia:  The Comet was supposed to be the 1961 Edsel, and that ornament might even have an Edsel part number on the underside.

Correct. 1960 and 61, the Comet was part of the Edsel lineup. 62 and on they had Mercury badging. I new if I called it a Mercury, someone would correct me....
