1996 Roadmaster wagon, Texas car, 91,000 miles, elderly owned

Selling this 1996 Collector's Edition Roadmaster wagon for the widow of a recently deceased Buick Club member. They have owned it since 2012 when it had 39,000 miles. Now has 91,000 miles and runs/drives perfectly. Good tires, current license & inspection, clear Texas title, A/C and heat work perfectly, 8-way power seats work perfectly, leather upholstery has two small inch-long cuts in driver's seat back; power antenna works perfectly, cruise control not working; and the two rear door windows are not working. Hood & L.F. fender repainted; rest of paint is original, the clear coat is failing on the hood. Has the tinted roof glass, 350 engine with dual exhausts, and a previous owner has installed heavy duty anti-sway bars so this thing handles very nicely around the curves. 1996 is the final and best year of the Roadmaster wagon, and it is unusual to find one that has less than 100,000 or 200,000 miles.

Car was bought new at Pippen Buick in Carthage, Texas (small East Texas town) and has been in Dallas since 2012. Asking $8995 or close offer. Can be driven anywhere.

@Pete Phillips--thank you for posting. Do you have photos of the leather damage (2 small cuts), of the door jambs & sills, the spare tire well (inside and out), and the underside of the car? Do you know if the air suspension works, and if there are maintenance records that go with the car? Thank you in advance for the responses.

I have maintenance records for the 12 years that the current owner has owned the car. Within last 3 years, it has had new fuel pump & sending unit, 4 new shock absorbers, new battery, new serpentine belt, new EGR valve, new brake pads, rotors & drums resurfaced, new air pump, and new tires. Can't tell if air suspension works--haven't put a heavy load in it.

Thank you very much for the additional photos. Assuming that everything works (except as you have indicated above), that no warning lights show up on the dash, and that the headliner is in good condition (photo would be great), I am interested -- could you please PM me for contact information?

Ben, Look for it in Wichita Falls with its new owner! I sold it today at the Decatur Swap meet to a guy from Wichita Falls. He got a good car. Everybody else missed out on a nice, relatively low-miles '96 Roadmaster wagon.
