New Member - 1925 Standard Model 27

Short time lurker, first time poster. Second if you include a WTB topic. This is a picture of my Buick Standard Six 25-6-27 and my wife the day I got it on the road (3 days ago). We're just north of Orlando. I have already gotten so much fantastic information here. Thanks to all who share their knowledge and experience. It means a lot to those of us without much of either.

Welcome to this forum. Looks like you are a very fortunate fellow with two beauties in your life. Where did you acquire the Buick? Do you know any of its history ?

Thanks very much. Unfortunately I don't really have any history on it aside from the fact that it was in Virginia.

What a beautiful photo---congratulations!

I notice that your radiator is painted---is that a distinction between the Standard and Master models?

Thanks! I believe it wouldn't have been painted originally and would have been nickel plated. Painting was probably the easy way to go when the nickel plating started wearing.
