Gearheadengineer Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 What is going on at the windshield? Is that normal or some attempt to increase head room? This thing was stored poorly. Mold! 2
TAKerry Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Looks like they used a rope (still attached) to pull it from its slumber. Also looks like it has been hosed off. Beware of wet cars! It will make bad paint look good. Looks pretty complete, I dont know enough about these to know if its a deluxe or not, I would give 8k for it as is, assuming it doesnt run. Running, and mechanically strong, just needing a bit of love and it may be worth 10k. 1
auburnseeker Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Bottom of the body looks really wacky. You would definitely have to check it out in person.
Steve_Mack_CT Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Actually looks like a conversion, no big deal as lots of these standards were made into deluxes back in the day. Telltale tall windshield. Top will never fit right without changing out the windshield, all needed parts are available in repro at least. 1
Steve_Mack_CT Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Sold, saw a happy camper post on a fb group last night, best wishes to the new A roadster owner! 1
