I just got a car that was stopped mid restoration and am trying to sort thru and assemble the top metal.

All the top pieces have been plated but are separate.

Does any one have photos or description on how things go together?

I have the wood for patterns.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, it is a roadster. Here are the pieces. The top 2 at the right are different so I am wondering if I am missing 2 pcs?

This is what the top irons for your car look like when assembled.  Each side has 6 pieces.  This is the passenger side.  The prop nut and bolt is not in the photo.  I do not recognize the 2 L shaped pieces on the left side of your photo.  Perhaps someone can identify them.

Great help Leo. Thanks.

So it looks like I am missing 1 each of the 2 parts on the right.

Anybody got any?

Yes that appears to be correct.  I doubt you will find any spares however be thankful you have the two pieces as a pattern to duplicate.  I recommend you contact ThisOleCoupe@yahoo.com 717-808-6612, the guy does great metal work and has duplicated some parts for me.  Remember there is a driver side and passenger side to each set of top bows.

To Jay's point I found them in with the windshield posts.

Leo, are there any washers between the parts that rotate?

Thanks in advance.

Hey pre1939chrysle, can you tell us what those two L shaped pieces are at the left of BlueDevil's photo?

My guess is they are the hinges for the panel in front of the rumble seat

Going back to BlueDevil's photo.  Can anyone identify these two plated pieces in this photo?  I'm quite sure they have nothing to do with the top irons.
