Window wiper problem

Recommended Posts

I seem to running into a dead end. I turn my wipers on and the motor functions it rotates the blades up about three inches and returns to the hide position randomly they will function normally. could this be a switch problem due because the switch only functions on the low setting and not the high
it actually seems as if it was binding but see no evidence of this. I have replaced the motor and also once in a while in the off position it moves after wipers have been turned off. I appriciate all your help and advice.
thanks
Phil

It sounds like you have a bad ground. I replaced a switch because of this same problem and THEN found a loose ground wire that's supposed to attach at the switch behind the cluster. Give this a shot before you replace any more parts.
