Hardtops not fitting tightly on driver’s side above windshield

I have two TC’s with hardtops that fit snuggly along the top of the windshield from the passenger side all the way to about 3/4 of the way across to the driver’s side. However, that last 1/4 of front of the top on both cars has a visible gap that allows in both air and rain.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? I can’t figure out a way to adjust it down on the driver’s side, as the hooks are already screwed down as tightly as they can be. It seems weird they would both have this issue in the same spot too. So, wanted to see if any one had suggestions or had experienced this on theirs as well?

Yeah, on my first hardtop, it either didn't have that uneven spacing, or there's a chance I just didn't notice it. I know for sure I didn't have noticeable air leaks like I've experienced with one of my current ones. Since, I'm seeing this on multiple tops, maybe this was typical with the TC's. For the one with the noticeable air leak, I'll probably just have to add additional weather stripping on top of the seal already there to close it.
