One thing is for sure.  I remember lots of stuff like this in the woods as a kid and that was 80's-90's.  Unfortunately so much was cleaned up as scrap prices surged and towns got into beautifying mode,  that not much will be left for the next generation to discover.

From the looks of the new building in the back ground this one is destined to be hauled away sooner rather than later.

Stutz Pak-Age-Car.  Super rare.  Engine mounted east-west so likely fwd.

At first glance I was sure it was a Marmon-Herrington Deliverall, very similar body, front crosswise engine, but there are enough differences so Dictator 27 is probably correct on Stutz.

1946 ish Marmon Herrington.

On second thought I agree with old tech.  It is a Marmon Herrington.  It has parking lights over the headlights and different front fenders.  The Pak-Age-Car had a rear mounted engine.

Update. Likely a bit later than 46. They were made from 45 until 52 and it looks more like the later ones. And yes, front wheel drive.

I'd be interested in the steering box assembly if someone was to part it out.   Life is Good,  Don

I'm looking into if it is available. If so, I may just go and get it to see it does not get scraped. I'll let you know because parts is parts. It's way to ruff to restore in my opinion.

Thanks for the info OldTech. I see these were powerd by a Willys Jeep engine.

The nose of the delivery truck is certainly unique as is the drive line configuration.  As for the driver seat....was this an afterthought?

I do believe the seat flipped down so it could also be driven in the standing position (so much for seatbelt, just hold tight to the steering wheel)

This would be the early 1945 design. Not sure when it changed to bigger grille and individual fenders.
