Dandy Dave Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Several photos of a milk truck in the woods. What make?
TerryB Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 There should be a design award for that driver’s seat😀. 4
auburnseeker Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 One thing is for sure. I remember lots of stuff like this in the woods as a kid and that was 80's-90's. Unfortunately so much was cleaned up as scrap prices surged and towns got into beautifying mode, that not much will be left for the next generation to discover. From the looks of the new building in the back ground this one is destined to be hauled away sooner rather than later. 2
dictator27 Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 (edited) Stutz Pak-Age-Car. Super rare. Engine mounted east-west so likely fwd. Edited December 29, 2022 by dictator27 (see edit history) 1 1

At first glance I was sure it was a Marmon-Herrington Deliverall, very similar body, front crosswise engine, but there are enough differences so Dictator 27 is probably correct on Stutz. 1

It has parking lights over the headlights and different front fenders. The Pak-Age-Car had a rear mounted engine. 1
DFeeney Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 I'd be interested in the steering box assembly if someone was to part it out. Life is Good, Don 1
Oldtech Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 (edited) Update. Likely a bit later than 46. They were made from 45 until 52 and it looks more like the later ones. And yes, front wheel drive. Edited December 30, 2022 by Oldtech (see edit history) 1 1

Life is Good, Don I'm looking into if it is available. If so, I may just go and get it to see it does not get scraped. I'll let you know because parts is parts. It's way to ruff to restore in my opinion. 3

avgwarhawk Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 The nose of the delivery truck is certainly unique as is the drive line configuration. As for the driver seat....was this an afterthought?
Cadillac Nut Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Pretty cool find, not much left in the woods anymore. Please save it if you can, just for the parts, it will be scrap metal as soon as some snob moves into that house behind it. 1

I do believe the seat flipped down so it could also be driven in the standing position (so much for seatbelt, just hold tight to the steering wheel) 1
Oldtech Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 (edited) This would be the early 1945 design. Not sure when it changed to bigger grille and individual fenders. Edited January 2, 2023 by Oldtech (see edit history) 1
KURTRUK Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 You can see the DELIVR-ALL logo on the end of the shift/throttle(?) lever protruding from the engine in second photo. 2
