deac Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 57 Pontiac Chieftain starts and runs good. To much to list all original. Call for info. No trades cash only. Has been well taken care of. Have all receipts and records on the history of the vehicle. Miles are true. Beautiful inside and out. Upgraded radio with flash download plug in glove box. https://redding.craigslist.org/cto/7569149848.html 5
Dosmo Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 I'm not gonna comment one way or the other on the pricing, because I don't keep up enough to really know. I must say, I do really like the overall look of this car. I like the two-tone paint, and I rather like the level of trim, which seems somewhat restrained for this period of GM. 1
kingrudy Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 Very attractive car, I think that 1957 was the highwater mark for styling of automobiles IMO. Take your pick Chev, Ford, Pontiac, Oldsmobile or Buick there is not a dog in the lot. 3
deac Posted December 29, 2022 Author Posted December 29, 2022 I am partial to the 57 Pontiacs because I have one! I am not wild about the hubcaps on this one. Though those are original mine are too... 1
Dosmo Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 I think I prefer the smaller hubcaps with trim rings, too. 2
Gearheadengineer Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 Wow! That is a gorgeous car! I love it. Looks like you can just hop in and enjoy it. If this were a ‘57 Chevy in the same body style, the asking price would be a lot higher. 1
pont35cpe Posted December 29, 2022 Posted December 29, 2022 I always liked their speedometer, was it unique to `57 Pontiac only?
