I'm not gonna comment one way or the other on the pricing, because I don't keep up enough to really know.  I must say, I do really like the overall look of this car.  I like the two-tone paint, and I rather like the level of trim, which seems somewhat restrained for this period of GM.

Very attractive car, I think that 1957 was the highwater mark for styling of automobiles IMO. Take your pick Chev, Ford, Pontiac, Oldsmobile or Buick there is not a dog in the lot.

I am partial to the 57 Pontiacs because I have one! I am not wild about the hubcaps on this one. Though those are original mine are too...

I think I prefer the smaller hubcaps with trim rings, too.

Wow! That is a gorgeous car! I love it. Looks like you can just hop in and enjoy it. 
 

If this were a ‘57 Chevy in the same body style, the asking price would be a lot higher.
