rocky5517 Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 In the December edition of the Riview there's a great story about the 1971 Silver Arrow lll. Apparently GM installed some experimental features on this car but the one I can't figure out is the "anti-stalling device", which would automatically re-start the engine. With an automatic trans, how often would you stall the engine?
EmTee Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 Not really 'experimental' or even 'new'... https://www.studebaker-info.org/Tech/startix/1930startix.pdf
RivNut Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 The opposite of my 2020 Buick Encore GX. It has the auto stop feature. Depending on ambient temperatures, the engine shuts off when the car comes to a complete stop. Starts again when you lift your foot off the brake. 1
