plymouthcranbrook Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 (edited) Overpriced for the condition it's in. Buy a battery and clean it up first, then try to sell. Edited December 23, 2022 by plymouthcranbrook (see edit history) 3
The 55er Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 A tough sell at any price in its current condition. 2
JamesR Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 On the other hand, even when high, the prices on these early fifties Mopars seem decent when compared to most other vehicles of this era in the same condition. But yeah, c'mon seller...buy a new $80 battery to sell your "running" $5000 car! Six volt batteries aren't that hard to come by.
alsancle Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 I was annoyed by my 2 door version of this that I had in HS because I badly wanted a GTO. Although my dad was brilliant because you couldn't go 65 in this unless you dropped it out of an airplane and it motivated me to work my ass of to come up with the cash for the GTO. These are not easy cars to sell, although the 3 window and the convertible are certainly more collectable. 2 1
plymouthcranbrook Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 They are fun and reliable if given minimal care. But stodgy and never”cool”. Mopars except for some performance models have never had the following of GM and Ford. 1
