Fuel pump questions

Hello, Group, any help on the fuel pump would be appreciated. I have rebuilt the pump replaced both diaphragms, cleaned and assembled all parts as they were, The pump sucks fuel from the tank but has no pressure.  There is a bulbus chrome piece on the outlet side. Is that some sort of check valve? When I remove it there is nothing inside of it. on the inlet side is a large chrome nut , inside of that is solid .  Very confused. Thank you

Turns out those pieces are check valves and the internal flaps and springs are missing. Does anyone know where to get those parts ? Thanks

I got my fuel pump kit from Hal Houghton of The Classic Preservation Coalition and it had new internal flaps.
