BuickTom87
How’s everyone’s weekend, has anyone had any good experiences with any companies that restore dashes. I want to wood grain the dash on the 41 century because the dash on the car is horrible. It was hand painted with a brush .

EmTee
I know Doug Seybold does them. See this thread: https://forums.aaca.org/topic/300890-carolina-roadmasters-collect-all-4-38-roadmaster-model-87/page/6/
BuickTom87
I’ll have to talk to Doug more , sending him my steering wheel and dash parts for engine turning . I met him at Hershey a few years ago such a nice guy.
Kenneth Carr
You can try Bill Gratkowski. Find him on page 93 of the 2022 Sept/Oct Antique Automobile. I believe I saw him at Hershey one year. His stuff looked great but I have no personal experience of dealing with him. He will provide an estimate. You have to send all your parts to him. kgreen
Here's a before and after of mine. Grain-it Technologies of Winter Haven, FL did mine. https://woodgraining.com/ I visited their shop as well, they have an amazing collection of historical information so they are able to replicate properly. The 1940 dash has two color variations; a dark color (below) and one with a greenish hue. These two colors would be used to match a selected interior color. Before: After: Note the orientation of the grain pattern, it is vertical from top to bottom. Each car was different, each year may also vary.
