TC_cruiser Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 My TC is leaking a small amount of fuel from this part- I'm sure the name is in the manual somewhere but I can't find it! Thanks in advance!
Garnet & Gold Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Be careful. Don't pull a Jay Leno. Safety for both you and the car.

Thanks in advance! That is the far end of the fuel rail. That component on the end of the rail acts as a buffer to soften the fuel pressure in the fuel rail as the pump is supplying it. It screws on to the fuel rail and that may be where the leak comes from.
TC_cruiser Posted November 24, 2022 Author Posted November 24, 2022 I'll have a look at it later today when I install the light. The leakage is very minimal, it's just slightly damp after running the car. Do you think it's a part that would need replacing or should I just seal the leak?

It is made so that with 2 open end wrenches, holding the fuel rail firmly with one wrench, you should be able to 'snug' the 'fuel pressure buffer' with the other wrench. CAREFULLY!
TC_cruiser Posted November 24, 2022 Author Posted November 24, 2022 @Hemi Dudewe did exactly that this morning, and it worked! No burns and no more leaking. 1
