Putting my TC up for sale locally soon, figure I'd put it up here first and see if anyone is interested.

 

Going to be asking around $2300, I figure much less than that and I may as well just part it out.

The Good

• It runs
• It's red
• Relatively low miles*

 

The Bad

• Last month I reset the tripmeter and the odometer stopped working entirely, it has pretty much sat since then but the odometer is no longer accurate
• Someone sideswiped me and caused body damage along the drivers side of the vehicle
• Mechanic sat in the drivers seat and somehow broke the reclining function in an uncomfortable position
• Small fuel leak coming from the rear of the car somewhere
• Small oil leak from main seal
• I doubt any of the braking system has ever been changed
• Cracked leather and old plastic interior bits have cracked as well
• Radio antenna stuck up
• Probably something else

 

I am the second owner, the car had sat for a very long time before I bought it. I have replaced the timing belt and have done most of the normal maintenance you'd expect plus some. I have the paperwork for most of it, but it has become too much to keep up with.  It would also becoming with one or two large boxes of OEM replacement parts, it's a hodgepodge of things but most of it seems to be replacement headlight parts. Great photos!  I think your price is very correct and reasonable for the car.

 

i would put a big red bow on the roof, and advertise it locally.

This is perfect for some teenage kid, and now is the right time to market it as a Christmas present!!!

 

I bet it doesn't last a week.............
