Kevin Kircher 70 Skylark
I have a 1970 Buick skylark, 38,000 miles, it had a repaint done due to the paint cracking. They removed all the labels and stickers from the trunk and door jams. How can I find out what stickers / labels belong on the car and where to locate them on the car
rocketraider
Scroll down thru the Forums till you find the Buick Forums. Ask there, probably in "Post-war Buick" and someone will know placement and a source. I'm thinking a 1970 GM car would have at most spare tire and jacking instructions on bottom of the decklid, maybe an air shocks ("Superlift shock absorbers" in GM-speak) instructions decal if so equipped. In the door jambs a "GM Mark of Excellence" decal, and some makes were still putting tire pressure spec decals there. 1970 was before a decal containing a car's VIN and emissions certifications was installed there. Right, emissions sticker is on the radiator support upper bar.
