Guest
Just yesterday a friend of mine brougt into the coffe shop a 1930 "Automotive Cars List". This was a small maybe 5" x 8" brown paper covered book. It listed all cars from 1926 to 1930 giving wheelbase and models. I went to the DB section and noticed there was a listing for a "Touring" (3 passenger????) and a seperate listing for a 5 passenger "Special Touring". I was wondering if anyone else had come across such a listing and what the difference is between the Touring and Special Touring. I looked the book over real well for publisher, editor, etc.; but there wasn't anything. I do not know who produced it or why. It sure did list a lot of cars though. Paul S
The "special touring" came equiped with bumpers, nickle plated radiator shell, and a few other extras, as standard equipment.
JB-ed
I'll bet the "3" was a typo, should be "5". But "special" was a trim option, as described above.
