rtabish
hey guys. PLEASE dont take this the wrong way, i admit i am guilty of this as much as anybody else, and this is put forword with all the love and good intentions i can give. could some of you please proofread your posts before you post them? YOUR SPELLING IS JUST PLAIN BAD! my 13 year old niece made the comment that some of the posts i've been reading look like they were put up by 3rd graders. i want her to think that buick enthusiests are, for the most part, intellegent people compared to the camaro people she hang out with [she wants a 75 Z/28 and i am trying to convince her to get a 70 GS]. thanks. rob

BUICK RACER
I hope you are taking this is fun and not personally. It's hard enough to type correctly let alone spell correctly. Not sure if the BB has a spell check but some of them do. Even then common words can be used in all different ways in our "English" language. Be cool. rtabish
yeah, yeah, i know i made a few mistakes . thddddd...but they were the big $3 words, and i bet more than a few of us arn't real sure about them anyway. as for not capitalizing, that is just a bad habit of mine, your know, kinda like being a smartass is for SOME people. this was just ment to encourage a few people to slow down and read what they wrote. and maybe that was the 75 amc pacer with the Z/28 option! <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Guest Shaffer
A few "small" words I see mispelled here- "arn't" is actually "aren't""ment" is actually "meant"Not to be mean or sound rude and I understand the point you are trying to make, but- practice what you preach. I must say that I am a really good speller and all through school, I always made "A's" in my spelling classes and even won a golden award one year in a spelling bee. I really do not see where it is a big deal.Happy spelling. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /><div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">yeah, yeah, i know i made a few mistakes . thddddd...but they were the big $3 words, and i bet more than a few of us arn't real sure about them anyway. as for not capitalizing, that is just a bad habit of mine, your know, kinda like being a smartass is for SOME people. this was just ment to encourage a few people to slow down and read what they wrote. and maybe that was the 75 amc pacer with the Z/28 option! <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> </div></div>

rtabish
that is one of the things I like about this site. you can usaully get the right answers to a problem and from more than one contributer. makes for a nice exchange. I wouldn't accuse someone of being ignorant for making a few mistakes if the intention is good, and you usually don't get that here. they will tell you if your are mistaken, though, if only to clarify a point. Guest 31tudor
I'd like to know when the word "prolly" became part of the English language! I've seen more people use that stupid concoction more and more recently, people who should know better than to use a term (even if it is slang) in the most inappropriate locations.People, the word is "probably." Learn to spell it, and use it wisely. Using a concoction like "prolly" is an insult unto yourself and your education (or lack thereof).
