Matt Harwood
Here's my youngest son, 14-year-old Riley, firing up the 1961 Starliner and getting it ready to head to the trailer area from the car corral on Friday. He was a big help all week, working to unload the cars in the rain, keep them running so they'd warm up and run properly, and getting them wiped down each morning and after the rain. He got a lot of new confidence when it comes to making an old car run.

Steve, I talked with the owner builder at my swap meet spot, great guy with 28 years in the Air Force. I think I posted a video of him and the motor home at Oshkosh. Please thank everyone that made Hershey happen. Sorry we didn't make the Tuesday literature sale. Earlier I had sold a postcard that also said "Honk Honk" with an eerie skull on it, and someone on this forum was very happy with it (for a little more than the three bucks!). Glad you enjoyed getting it, we had virtually no other sales which involved dollar bills! We did have a great Hershey though, so many old and new friends, and I heard so many great stories. I make it a point, if someone takes the time to glance over my wares, to ask what kind of car or other vehicle they like/own/work on...and the stories are great. One fellow I talked to was wearing a T-shirt with "DORRIS" on it, I asked him if it was a car or his wife's name! He said he owned a few, I'm sure many know him. What fun Hershey is if you just talk to people.... Dave, it was great spending some time visiting with you. Thanks for the postcard - printed at a time when the motorist was not too kindly thought of...a real piece of history. Terry

Annie G
My dear husband camped out at the Ticket Booths and took photos of about 95% of the cars in the show! I'm thankful for that, because after judging and walking the flea market 2 days prior, my knees were not up for more walking lol (I'm lame, and I mean that in every way possible lol) So enjoy! And feel free to download your car if you like the image https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZNaQnRVAiWovASLCA 10

philip roitman
Just want to say a big Thank you to, West Petterson for taking the time towards the end of the show day to take the time to shoot photos of my car. (Around 2.15 PM) The first two photos in this post I took by the vegetation on Herksher Road are just some shots I took while watching, West do his magic. Hope the photos he took get used in the near future. I can't wait to see them. Thanks again, West! What a great day with unbelievable wonderful weather. Hershey never dissapoints no matter the weather. This was the 2nd time out for the car this year, following the weekend before showing at the Audrain Motor Week Concours/Tour. I wouldn't have missed Hershey and seeing all the friends I have made over the years no matter how much scrambling that was required to get the car there. Thank you also to all from the Hershey Region and the National folks for getting the event done year after year. Many now seem to forget one had to let their old carbureted car warm up to run properly without stalling, compared to our new fuel injected vehicles. Unless a younger person like Riley has been exposed to it, they will never know about having listen to the engine, and not the radio, and hit the gas when they hear the revs dip, for the first few minutes after starting it. Oldschoolantiqueauto
I want to go to Hershey so bad, just once before I'm to old. All these photos are just a big tease. I bet I would find those 36 Pontiac taillights I have been looking for, for the past 10 years now. I want to see more photos of all the parts & accessory venders. starfireelvis
I literally take hundreds of photos each year at Fall Hershey—it provides memories that I can refer back to any time I want. And I appreciate the postings from others, as it is literally impossible to see everything. These are just some representative shots, including the drive into town on Chocolate Avenue as I arrive for the week; my friend Paul’s ‘51 Chevy Styline DeLuxe that he successfully sold in the car corral almost immediately, my 1962 Oldsmobile Starfire Coupe on the show field on Friday, and as a metaphor, you literally can find the kitchen sink in the swap meet area! Hope you enjoy these!
