I agree:  The price is realistic, or within negotiating range,

for a nice car such as this.  I've seen dealers' asking prices,

in 2 different cases, above $30,000 for DeVilles like this one.

Obviously, those dealers aren't achieving their mark-ups.

If they were, they'd be snapping up $15,000 cars to make

If I had my choice, I'd choose velour seats over leather, since

leather creases and velour stays pristine. This looks like a

very nice car.  It's a color not often seen. 

 

Have you noticed now that 2-door DeVilles of 1975-76

now greatly outnumber the 4-doors for sale--maybe by 10 to 1?

Not my favorite year, but this is a really nice example.  The 17K mile odometer looks legit to me.  I hope this goes to someone who appreciates it - not a flipper...

My facebook found this car, one ad shows for sale for over a year. I reached out to the seller and he said "just a bunch of lowballers", no serious interest. 

 

I have owned a 76 CdV and like them, actually.  The interiors are smart, well styled.   I think $12,000 buys it, and if all checks out, that is pretty good.   Yes you have to like large boats, and gas is expensive.

Knowing a seller's frame of mind, and the market

And now in November 2023, the asking price is

still at $13,500--reduced from the original, but

unchanged over the last 4 months.  It has been

for sale for at least 14 months.

One definitely needs the right garage to contain this whale!  I suspect it's the size that holds it back; needs the right buyer...

It's big and wide for sure.  I had mine in a 1940's or 50's era garage at the last home I shared with my ex-wife.  It was a horrible garage with cracked floor slab and poor lighting.  And at a stiff 90 degree angle to our driveway.  Anyway it fit and I suspect that was a 14 x 20 garage at best.
