Mudbone
We went to Jalopy Fest in Yorkville IL. A vendor has some shop manuals laying on his table. I asked if he had a 55 Buick shop amnual. After a litte digging he pulled this near mint 55 manual out that had a vintage envolope it it. My manual was nice when I first bought it but I use it and it is full of notes.
avgwarhawk
I have two. One is left in the garage and gets a bit greasy as I reference it during a repair. The other is a good clean manual that stay inside for reading as I prepare to work on a repair. Call me crazy. 2
NailheadBob
Good score on manual, I especially like when I find goodies inside manual afterwards, (parts lists, notes, to-do-list on car,) I like your envelope , many years ago the Chicagoland chapter of the BCA had it's monthly meetings at the General Motors training center, was pretty cool to be in that facility. I purchased a service manual for my car that covers were in pretty bad shape, but pages were in great shape, I took book apart and put pages in clear plastic sheet protectors, and then installed pages in a large blue GM parts catalog binder, works well for me when working on car in the garage, no more dirty pages that can not be cleaned. Mudbone
Second score of the day. These are all NOS with the original boxes. (7 of them) I believe they fit 54 - 56. I will keep the best one for Project 66R and the poorest one for One Bid. The boxes are poor. If anybody wants one, PM me.

Definitely 54-56. Going to look great on your restoration.
NailheadBob
I like your 2nd score, AND the Mac tool folding mat, you could fold it in half and not even know they are there😂, what are the part numbers, and do you have the Buick Chassis and Body PARTS manuals for your cars? Bob EDIT: I think One Bid is going to be jealous😂😂 Edited September 11, 2022 by NailheadBob (see edit history)

Mudbone
What I meant was the best trim piece is a 10 and the poorest one is a 9. One Bid will not be upset at all! Five of them with the boxes will be for sale.....

Is that a reprint parts manual, does it cover chassis and body parts? I have not seen a parts manual that looks like that, and that size for 1956, up until 1960 they were 10" wide X 11 3/4"high Bob

Maybe they are different? Edited September 12, 2022 by Mudbone (see edit history) 1
