Reply to Seller through Craigslist email to: 2acd4a5a617b3139a459f4218e238b14@sale.craigslist.org On 9/3, Seller reduced price to $5,900 Link: https://portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/d/longview-chevrolet-corvair-pickup-1961/7528355575.html Seller's Description: 1961 Chevrolet Corvair Rampside Pickup condition: fair cylinders: 6 cylinders transmission: manual odometer: 100,000 odometer rolled over paint color: custom title status: clean Built from 1961 – 1964 on a limited production run, less than 3,000 produced, less than 300 of the RampSide pickup now remain. Rear mounted 145 CI air-cooled flat 6 engine which we have turned over but hasn't run in 20 years, will need to be towed, clean title. Message me for inspection but I feel it has very little rust for its age, the body was undercoated when new and having been underneath it looks good, no rust in the bed, the rampside work well, we did not start it, we rotated it to see if it would turn smoothly, it is missing the battery alternator and fuel pump which was taken by the owner for a different corvair he was working on before passing, we bought this as part of an estate. It is located in downtown Longview but please dont bother the people working there, contact me and I will meet you there. Feel free to ask questions, as long as the add is up it is for sale, I do not respond to anyone calling it an "Item" Edited September 26, 2022 by 6T-FinSeeker update status (see edit history)

George Smolinski
Looks pretty clean, but it would have been nice to push it 20 feet out into the sunlight so one could have a better idea of condition. Considering the missing engine parts and unknown condition of the engine, I would treat it as buying a vehicle with a bad engine and offer half of the ask.
