Oil Can Holder

[1919 Touring]

  Looking for a source for a firewall oil can holder and oil can.  Thanks in advance for responses.

Check with Tim Morsher (dropacent), he makes some nifty holders.  There are lots of Model T Ford cans around, but they are all marked with the Ford script.  If you want an unmarked one, keep looking on Ebay.

  Thanks.  Found an unmarked oil can. just need to contact dropacent.  What's the trick to contacting someone in the club?  Not real good at this stuff yet.

Until I find an original one, I made my own oil can holder out of the wire bail (handle) from a five gallon bucket and a piece of thin flatstock.  I just bent the wire using a hammer, anvil and vice. One bucket handle was almost the perfect length.

That looks like what I've seen.  Awesome.  I guess I could do the same thing.  And the oil can I purchased from a flea market is the same as yours.  Has EAGLE stamped on it as well. Thanks for the feed-back.

1919, the oilcan should say Eagle. When you join you will get a roster of club members.

The roster for the Dodge Brothers national club I have was included as part of one issue of their bi-monthly club publication. Don't know if they are still doing it that way, mine was a few years old when I got it. If you click on the link, it will take you to their home page, there might be info there.
