The Standard Catalog of American Cars, 1946-1975, Edited by John Gunnell states 2,092 1966 AMC Rambler American 440 Convertible built, no breakdown on the number with four speeds. Seller should provide proof for his "1 of 28 produced" claim.

I like it but it will need work.  290 four speed convert are not in every garage so pricing is probably reasonable depending on rust issues. (Inside the trunk and looks like the passenger side rockers may have issues)
