Removing Chrysler TC hard top

I have a Chrysler TC by Maserati I am trying to lift the top off by over head winch. Can anyone give me pointers or ideas? I can’t seem to get it balanced.

What kind of rig do you have hooked up? There is a leveling device made for lifting motors, perhaps you could use one of those attached to the lifting strap somehow.
