jan arnett (2)
I have been told I have the wrong tailight for a 1923 Screenside, I have the round type B which came with the car. What is correct?
dwollam
Jan, I believe the '23 had just a tail light, no brake light. Just a simple round lens. '24 got the oval light with brake light as a 1 year only item, then '25 got the type B round tail/brake light.

22touring
In 1924, when California started requiring a rear brake light, I am told that the original owner of my '22 touring car took it to the dealer to have a brake light installed and wound up with the following lights. Not sure if they're official DB issue or not; they may well be aftermarket.

dbbob
I have an original 1924 DB. The oval light in the photo (amber tail light and small red brake light) is identical to my ´24.
