Gary56
I have a 1929 graham paige and my headlights are not equal brightness. I tried running a separate ground to the highest and there was no change. I think the problem is in the switch at the end of the steering wheel. Does anybody know how I can clean the switch without pulling everything apart.
ArticiferTom
Before getting in to switch . Use wire to bypass both existing . Also extra grounding would have been on dimmer not highest . it is possible wrong lamps are in or one is about to fail . Clean all contact points first and dielectric grease to them and cleaned terminals of switch . Inners are not split like wires going to HL's . So avoid disassembly . Str8-8-Dave
May I humbly suggest some stuff I found while restoring old hi-fi equipment? This stuff works wonders on dirty potentiometers and switches, both on hi-fi AND automotive switchgear.
JACK M
Daves suggestion is probably a better product, but I have had good success with good old WD40. Try and get as much of it to the inside of the switch as you can, then cycle the switch a bunch of times. Maybe repeat, Works great.
