58L-Y8
For Sale: 1964 Chrysler New Yorker 4dr Sedan, 413, 84K miles - $7,000 - Saint Cloud, MN 1964 Chrysler New Yorker 413 - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle... (craigslist.org) Seller's Description: Here's a great opportunity to get into a big block Mopar for not much cash. For some reason, these Chryslers don't demand big money despite being reliable, well built, and comfortable.I bought this car 5 years ago out of a barn. It hadn't run since '94. Somehow, it wasn't all chewed up by mice!I did all the important re-start stuff, then replaced the following:All brakes (shoes, hoses, cylinders, lines, converted to dual master, parking brake)TimingValley pan, intake/exhaust. gaskets, valve cover gaskets.Carb (650 avs2)All fluidsDash lights, rebuilt dash including heater controls (difficult)New rear belts for safety.New tires.New battery 2021Re-flowed radiator and heater core 2022I also did some bodywork on the rear window area and rear passenger fender. Car is otherwise essentially rust-free, i.e. you won't see rust holes or anything structural for a long time. Bodywork is glass over new, welded steel. The paint is good but needs the attention of a buffer. Resprayed areas are visible, a full spray would be a good investment. If I have time to do it before it sells, I will charge accordingly. Interior shows wear but is fully functional. No seat covers, etc. Sun damage to rear seat vinyl seat top. All in all, a very nice running and driving car. I've used it daily, with the wife and kids for the last 5 years (except on snow and ice!)Comes with (and eventually needs)water pumptranny filter/gasketoil pan gasketoil pumpfuel pumpnew galvanized fuel tank ($$$)all ball jointsall wheel/axle bearings/sealsall front-end bushingsall shockslowering blocksProbably other things as well. All these are new parts I've purchased in case they got hard to find. Nothing is immediately necessary. This is a good car. I'm not happy to sell it, but there comes a time in every man's life. Cherish this old beauty. Selling below market value: Hagerty good: $9,300. Nada avg.: $8,950PS. I'm only doing email for initial contact, there are just too many spammy calls these days. Contact: no phone listed Copy and paste in your email: 284055609b793846b1edfc80aded7fb2@sale.craigslist.org I have no personal interest or stake in the eventual sale of this 1964 Chrysler New Yorker 4dr Sedan.
plymouthcranbrook
i like it. Of course I am a fan of the 63-64 Chryslers. Still even with a bit of body work that may or may not be perfect for that money and with a 413 it is well worth looking at if one is in the market
