tcslr
I have two small pieces missing on my pinion. 1929 75 Chrysler rear end is unique - I THINK the 72 parts may fit but the 1930 77 - no. since this is a one year only ( near as I can determine) does anyone have a Hollander reference that can tell me what other Marques used that rear? I figure Chrysler sources the rears. Hard to imagine changing casts and re-machining fir a one year run. thanks, Tom
zeke01
It isn’t promising. From the twelfth edition oh Hollanders,

zeke01
This was under ring gears, pinions and carrier assemblies. Looks like the interchange is ‘27-‘29 65,72,75.
viv w
Tom, The Chrysler master parts list shows the model 75 ring and pinion will be the same as the model 62, 72, & 65 on the following ratios, 4,6:1, and 4,3:1. The model 72 and 75 ratio 3,9:1 are the same. The model 62, 72 and 65 ratio 4,9:1 is not listed for your 75, will it fit ?? who knows. The model 72 and 75 can also share a 3,9:1 ratio Model 72 also has a 3,58:1 ratio listed, but again not specified for the model 75, again will it fit?? I'm going to send you a PM about a series 72 rear axle . Viv.
