New memberships w/42 Buick 48 S

FYI I am joining so as to access the info out there among the Buick/Chev group as I recently acquired this 1942 Buick 48S family Sedanet which has been sitting since the early 70's. The stock 248 dual exhaust/dual carb engine was rebuilt in the early 70s but never completed (head rebuilt, short block assembled but stopped due to lack of head gasket). The elements have taken a toll on the open 3 speed gearbox in the trunk and it is still sitting on it's torque tube rear end. Many NOS and replacement parts fill the interior and it only has rust around the rear trunk latch/floor area. As I have 20 cars I don't know if I will reasonably get to this one also with my others being Fords, Mopars, and Lancia's. Glad these forums are out there to assist on these projects
