keiser31
Since the number is scratched out, it may be that the stuff inside does not match the box and number.
auburnseeker
Keiser may well be right. C3SZ, following Ford sequencing and numbers would usually put it down to something like 1963 Thunderbird if I recall correctly. So possibly a 63 thunderbird with 390. Not sure if there would be a difference for the M code 3 2bbl option. That's without actually looking the number up. Could be different variations depending on if it's the thunderbird engine in a different car. Now after looking they did offer the 406 and supposably the 427 as well. Could be the number is even scratched out because someone got them thinking they were standard 390 wires and they were the 406 or 427 ones, or vise versa. Welcome to the confusing world of NOS parts.
JFranklin
I have been known to buy such boxes at garage sales and use whatever may fit. Usually a few wires may be missing. But at a dollar or so who cares?
